Editing your Hub's Header Layout

Explore different options for your Hub Header

There are three types of Hub Header layouts available for you to choose from, each designed with a specific purpose to improve user experience:

Row layout

The Row layout ensures all menu items are visible in a single row, with the search bar conveniently accessible above it. This design simplifies navigation, making it easier for you to set up your Hub and for your members to navigate it.

Tabs layout

The Tabs layout is perfect if you want your menu items more visible and easily accessible. Whether you're hosting a lot of content, running events, or just want a look that matches your style, this new header layout keeps everything in plain sight and just a click away.

The Hamburger layout, which has been available since the introduction of the Hubs feature. This layout is best when many items are included in the menu and the search bar is kept visible.

How to change and configure your Hub's Header Layout

To configure the layout settings of your Header Menu, follow these steps:

Step 1 - Access your Hub Editor

Access the Hub Editor by clicking the 🛠 Customize button next to your selected Hub.

Step 2 - Open Header Menu

Once in the Hub Editor's "Pages" section, click Home > Header page and scroll to the "Header Menu" option at the bottom. Click on it to open the Header Menu options.

Step 3 - Choose your preferred layout

To change the layout of your Hub Header, simply toggle to your preferred option out of the 3 layouts covered earlier in this article.

Step 4 - Configure your menu items

To add a new menu item, just click the + Add Menu Item button. For example, you can add "Discussions" for a one-click access to your Community page where members can collaborate. Add a header menu item

Once you're done adding and editing the menu item-specific details, you can arrange them according to your preference and what makes sense to your audience.Arrange Hub Header Menu Items

Next to each menu item you can click the three-dot menu button to Rename, Duplicate, or Delete each item as needed.Menu item three dot menu options
