Creating and managing community posts and comments
Learn how to create, manage, engage with and delete any community posts/comments
Your community is loaded with lots of different features to help you manage the posts that come in from your members. Click on any item from the following list to learn more:

Creating new posts
Start typing in the Start a new discussion box to create a new post. You can add attachments, images or link a video. Any Hub Owners can also send a broadcast, which notifies your members via email about the post.
Engaging with posts
You can engage with posts by liking them or adding comments. When adding comments, you can insert an attachment, image or video. Replying to a post will also notify the original poster of your reply.
Broadcasting a new post
You can notify all Hub members of a new pot in the community by toggling on the Notify all members about this post option. Please note that this functionality is only
Managing Hub notifications
As the Hub owner, you have the option to turn on Hub notifications in your Hub settings.This will turn all Hub notifications on by default for your members.
Notifications appear:
- 🛎️ In the Notifications menu where members can click each notification to be taken to the relevant post.
- 🖥️ Through your desktop if members have these notifications turned on.
- 📧 Through email if there is a post your members is tagged in or if you broadcast a post.
- 📱 Through your Hub's mobile app (if you have one).
Any member who wants to configure their notification settings can change their preferences in their profile.

Accessing the post management menu
Clicking the three-dot menu (•••) icon on posts and comments gives you the option to perform several different changes. ‼️ Posts can only be edited from the frontend of your Hub, not in the Hub Editor.
You can move the post from one Space to another by clicking Edit and selecting a new space.

Assigning moderators
You can add moderators to help you manage your community.
‼️ You must be viewing your Hub from the frontend to be able to assign a moderator.
From your Discussions page, click your Members list to open your Directory. Search for and open the profile of the person you wish to assign moderator rights to. Once inside their profile, go ahead and click the ⭐️ Make moderator button to assign them the role.
To un-assign the moderator role, just go to the same page where you assigned the role and click Remove as moderator.
