The Library tab
Organize your Files, Folders, and Playlists within a content library On Membership.io
The Library tab inside your Membership.io account allows you to organize your Files, Folders, and Playlists within a content library. Learn more about what all of these are in this article. 😉
You can access the Library inside of your account by heading to app.membership.io/library
💿 Content Files
Files are any video or audio imported into your Membership.io account. Each file uploaded to your Membership.io account is automatically transcribed, captioned, and made searchable by word spoken upon import. Magic! 🪄🐇
You can upload video and audio files to your Library. You can also upload PDF content, or add it as an attachment to any video or audio file.
📁 Folders
Your files are sorted into Folders. Folders are used to help you internally sort your content. Content imported from a third-party app is automatically sorted into a Folder named after that source. For more information on how to set up and use Folders, see this article on what Folders are.
You can click the ➕ buttons in your Library to upload new content and create new Folders and Playlists. The good thing is that you can create as many Folders and Playlists as you like!
🎞️ Playlists
Playlists are a curated list of Membership.io files you can share with your audience. Playlists can be shared through the Playlist URL, embedded in another platform, or added to a Hub. Learn more about how to use Playlists here.
- NOTE: Library Playlists and Hub Playlists are separate entities. See this article for more information on the difference between a Library and Hub Playlist.
How are Hubs and the Library connected?
The content you upload to your Library can added into a Hub to be shared with your members.
Your Library is completely private and you can't send your members to it. You can however send your members to a Hub.
