What are the differences between "Library" and "Hub" Playlists?
Understand how to manage and export Hub and Content Playlists
What can I use this for?
Hub Playlists vs. Library Playlists
Both types let you deliver a series of videos in a set order, but they differ in how they’re shared:
-
Library Playlists can be shared via link or embed.
-
Hub Playlists are only viewable inside your Hub. If your Hub is private, members must log in to access them.
For paid content, Hub Playlists are more secure because access can be restricted by member email addresses.
Note: Hub and Library Playlists don’t sync. Updates to one won’t reflect in the other.
To keep both versions aligned, consider automating them using a Folder or Content Tag.
