What can I use this for?
You can share non-video content, such as workbooks, links, forms, or PDFs, by attaching these files to individual media files or Playlists in your Hub. Attachments must be linked to a media file or Playlist and cannot be accessed independently.
You can attach as many files as you want to a single media file or Playlist. Accepted file formats include PDF, TXT, JPEG, JPG, and PNG, with a maximum size of 20 MB per file.
Add an attachment to a media file
Step 1 - Go to your Hub content to add an attachment
Go to the Hub section of your account. After that, click the Customize button to get to the Hub editor.
In the Hub editor, navigate to the Content section on the left pane, open a Playlist, and select your content from the slide-in panel.
Step 2 - Upload or link your attachment
You can now see access Attachments. Click this option to upload non-video content to this specific media content.
Here are your options for adding an attachment. Choose one and follow the simple prompts.
- Upload - Add attachments directly from your local device.
- Select from Library - Select a folder to find existing content or upload new content.
- URL - Enter a name and provide the URL where your file is hosted.
Once you add the desired attachment, it will be saved automatically.
You'll find attachments for each media file in the "Attachments" tab below.
Adding Attachments to a Playlist
Step 1 - Choose the Playlist to which you want to add attachments
From your Hub editor, click the Content section from the left pane, and click the ⚙️ Settings icon to get to the Playlist settings.
Step 2 - Upload or link your attachment
Access the Attachments option in your Playlist settings to upload non-video content.
From here, click + Add Attachments and upload or link your attachment.
Here are your options for adding an attachment. Choose one and follow the simple prompts.
- Upload - Add attachments directly from your local device.
- Select from Library - Select a folder to find existing content or upload new content.
- URL - Enter a name and provide the URL where your file is hosted.
Once you add the desired attachment, it will be saved automatically.
Attachments to a Playlist will appear on the Playlist page beside your media files.
Some troubleshooting tips
- File not uploading? Ensure it's in the allowable format and size.
- Attachment not visible? Refresh the page or clear the browser cache to see the update.
- Broken links? Double-check the URL for typos or accessibility restrictions.
And that's about it! Your audience members now have access to attachments in your Hub. 🎉
