Resolve Facebook Live quality issues

Due to limitations with Facebook's API, some of your imported recordings may be limited in resolution

If you're seeing quality degradation in your imported Facebook Live videos, it is due to Facebook API limitations and bandwidth controls. The maximum possible resolution is sometimes capped at 360p or 480p SD, depending on the Facebook Live source. We have confirmed this across their API documentation and in some community forums.

Workarounds

  1. Download the HD copy of the Facebook video directly from Facebook and upload it into Membership.io manually.

  2. Use an external tool (like StreamYard) to stream your Live and use their recording to ensure a higher-quality video.
