Segment your Content based on Content Consumption (Dripping Content)

Manage Hub content visibility using Content Consumption Segment filters

🧰 What You Will Need

What can I use this for?

Content Consumption Segments let you show or hide content depending on what your members have started or completed.

Example:
Reward engaged members by showing a bonus video or PDF only after they complete the last item in a playlist. ✨

Step 1 - Set up your Hub using the content you're monitoring

Before setting up any visibility rules, make sure:

Content Consumption filters work best when everything you want to monitor is already in place.

Step 2 - Create your Segment

Go to the Content tab in your Hub and open your playlist. Click on the Segment Access icon. On the list of segments, click ➕ New Segment.

Step 2: Create and Attach a Content-Based Segment

Now let’s create a Segment by clicking the plus (+) icon. Under the Operator dropdown menu, choose any of the conditions:

  • Has Started

  • Has Not Started

  • Has Completed

Apply this filter to a specific File or Playlist and click ✔️ Create Segment.

Give your new Segment a name, and don't forget to click + Save Segment.

Name the segment and save

NOTE: This content will only be viewable by the specific segment to which it is shared.

You can already apply the segment here, or do it through a section as well (see the next step).

Step 3 - Attach your Segment to a Section

Once you have completed the Segment, go back to Hub Preview and click 🛠️ Customize.

Attach the Segment you created in Step 2 to the Visibility menu of any section in your Hub you'd like to protect with the completion conditions that you had set. ✨

To do that, you can simply click on the eye icon to access the visibility menu.

This protected Section will only appear to members who match the conditions set in your Segment. 🤓 Don't forget to click Save!
