Avoid audio and video lag in Extension recordings

Try these steps if you've noticed the audio and video of your recordings are out of sync with each other

  • Restart your computer.

  • Uninstall and reinstall the Extension.

  • Close any unused tabs/apps.

  • Check your computer's memory - if your device is low on RAM, this could be where the lag is coming from, closing all unnecessary applications can help.

  • Check your computer's battery level - we recommend recording when you're plugged into a power source.

  • Check your upload speed - a good estimate for recordings is 5mbps to record successfully.

  • Use a stable internet connection.
