What can I use this for?
You can use the Embed Code element to display third-party tools that support iframe embedding, such as:
- Event calendars
- Scheduling tools
- Forms or widgets hosted outside Membership.io
This method works for any external service that provides a valid iframe embed code or embed URL.
💡 Example: Tools like event calendars can be embedded by pasting their iframe code or source URL into the Embed Code element.
Step 1 - Open your Hub page
Go to your Hub and click Customize.
Then, open the Hub page where you want to embed your code. If you need more information about Hub Pages, you can get it here.
Step 2 - Create a Layout Section and add an Embed Code element
Create a new Layout Section. For instance, add one by clicking the ➕ Add Section button > (Custom Layouts) Columns > Choose the number of columns.
Next, click ➕ Add Element > Embed Code. From here, click the Import Code button to paste your iframe embed code into the element or the iframe source URL.
NOTE: The embed code element in your Hub will only accept HTML code with <iframe> tags that include a source URL attribute. You will not be able to add other types of code to this element. Our support team will only be able to troubleshoot cases where the valid iframe code is not working as expected.
Important limitations to note
- Membership.io only displays the embed — all functionality, styling, and availability are controlled by the third-party tool.
- Some services restrict iframe usage and may not load inside a Hub.
- Our support team can assist if the valid iframe code is not displaying as expected, but cannot troubleshoot third-party platform issues.
Step 3 - Preview your new content
Save your changes to preview your new Hub swag. 💅 You can also style the element at this point to control how it appears.
