What can I use this for?
The template URL is designed originally to be shared publicly (e.g., social media, newsletters, blogs) to encourage new users to sign up and access the Hub template.
IMPORTANT:
- If a user already has an account and is logged in to Membership.io when they open the template URL, they'll immediately see a prompt to name and use the template.
- If a user is not logged in, they'll be asked to sign in or create a free account first before they can access the template.
Step 1 - Copy the Template URL
From your Hubs, click the three-dot menu on the intended hub and select Copy Template URL.
Step 2 - Share the Template URL
Place the Template URL where your audience can:
- Click it to open a new browser window with the link, or
- They can copy it, open a new browser tab, and paste the URL into the address bar.
Once they open it, they will be asked to enter a new name before it gets saved.
TIP: It's advisable to include brief instructions with the link, as users may not instantly understand how to proceed. For example, remind your audience to log into their account first before clicking the template link to prevent any confusion.
