Frequently asked questions
Can I embed videos from platforms other than YouTube or Membership.io?
Currently, Membership.io supports embedding videos from Membership.io and YouTube only. Videos from other platforms may not embed directly in community posts.
As an alternative, you can upload video files as attachments within a discussion page. The maximum file size for uploaded videos is 100MB.
Can I upload videos directly into discussion posts and comments?
Uploading videos directly into discussion posts and comments is currently limited. While you can upload .mp4 files as attachments, they appear as downloadable links rather than embedded video players.
There are ongoing discussions about enhancing this feature, but embedded playback for uploaded video files is not yet available.
