Customize the menu items in your Hub to provide your audience with quick access at all times
What can I use this for?
Updating the Hub menu (a.k.a. Hub Header menu) is a key step in customizing your Hub's functionality and appearance, providing quick access and an easy way to switch between pages in your Hub.
Your audience can see your menu items in a Row, Tabs, or Hamburger layout.
Step 1 - Access the Menu customization section
Navigate to the Header Menu from the Hub Editor. One way to do that is to go to one of your Pages ("Home" in this example) and click Header.
Once you're in the Header section, scroll down until you find the Header Menu option, and then click on it to proceed.
Step 2 - Update menu items
Here is where you can begin updating your menu items. Click each one to adjust the visibility, select the menu item type, and customize the menu icon, among other options.
To add a new menu item, just click the + Add Menu Item button. For example, you can add "Discussions" for a one-click access to your Community page where members can collaborate.
Step 3 - Arrange your menu items
Once you're done adding and editing the menu item-specific details, you can arrange them according to your preference and what makes sense to your audience.
Step 4 - Rename, Duplicate, or Delete Hub menu items
Next to the menu item you want to delete, click the three-dot menu button where you will see the options Rename, Duplicate, and Delete. Click Delete to remove the selected menu item.
