Configure your Hub’s settings

Customize emails, configure your privacy and domain settings, set hub notification preferences, add tracking pixels, and much more in your Hub settings

All key settings you can configure in your Hub settings include setting up your Hub's privacy level, adding your custom domain to your Hub, and customizing your Hub's emails. Your Hub settings are accessible on the left side of your screen from the Hub Dashboard.

Your Hubs settings are categorized into General, Engagement, and Optimization. Let's explore how to access these settings and customize your options effectively.

Click the "Settings" tab to access all customization options. Each setting is specific to the selected Hub but affects the Hub as a whole. Below you’ll find more information on what each menu item allows you to customize.

General

Privacy

The Privacy menu lets you choose your Hub's privacy level, and control video, audio, and transcription downloads.

Domain

The Domain menu lets you enter a custom domain to attach to the Membership Hub. Follow our instructions for adding a custom domain to a Hub here.

Payments & Registration

The Payments menu lets you enable Membership.io Payments for your Hub and Native Registration for your audience. Once enabled, you can use this menu to toggle on your Customer Portal.

NOTE:

  • The Hub must be set to "Private" to access the Payments & Registration menu. 
  • To enable payment collection, you must set up a Payment Gateway.

Emails

The Emails menu allows you to set the "From Name" for all your Hub emails (for this specific Hub) along with the Reply-to Email. You can also use this menu to access the email templates for your Welcome, Magic Link, and Password Reset emails. Please see this guide for more info.

Additional Pages

You have the option to include a directory page on your Hub, which will allow your audience to find other members who have access to the Hub.

Engagement

Comments

Enable this feature to allow your audience to leave comments on your content. If disabled, your content will not accept new comments, and existing comments will be hidden.

Notifications

This enables the sending of updates to your audience about important updates on your Hub. Keep your audience in the loop also with activity notifications, keeping them updated on commenting interactions, achievements, and more!

NOTE: Turning the "Notifications" disables the notifications feature inside the Hub (no notification bell for all members).

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)


The SEO menu lets you input fields to improve your Hub’s SEO. You may choose to toggle the option off so you can hide it from appearing in search engine results.
