Add attachments to library content

Discover how simple it is to add attachments to your content in the Membership.io library

🧰 What You Will Need

The library in Membership.io allows you to upload and manage content for your Hubs. You can attach files such as PDFs, images, or additional resources to video and audio content.

Step 1 - Access the library

Click the library icon from your Membership.io account's dashboard.

Step 2 - Attach a file to your video/audio content

In the Library, locate the content to which you want to attach a file. Click on the file to access the File Manager

Scroll through the file management options and click on Attachments.

Next, click + Add Attachments and choose from the available options:

  • Upload - Attach files directly from your computer.
  • Select from Library - Choose from the attachments already available in the Library. NOTE: The "Attachments" folder is created when you first attach a file.
  • URL - Paste in the URL for any files hosted online (for example a Google Doc or Google Drive link).

Wait for your attachment to upload, then confirm the attachment is listed under the video/audio file.

Step 3 - How to locate your attachments

Attachments will be shown by the attachment indicator icon shown below, from the library view, the file manager view, and the media player view:

Additionally, you can find all your attachments in the "Attachments" folder located in your Library.

Supported File Types

Membership.io supports a wide range of file types, including PDF documents, images, audio, and video.

Remove attachments

You can remove files individually or via bulk action. Just click the three-dot menu option and choose Delete to remove a file or select multiple attachments and click the bin (🗑️) icon.

Please note that deleting an attachment from the Attachments folder will delete it from all files it is be attached to. Click Delete to confirm your choice.
