Get Started with Membership.io: Your Step-by-Step Guide

You've started your Hub â€” Here's the fastest way to launch it

You took the first step. Your Hub is built, the foundation is set, and you're close to launching than you think.

Here's what we've seen after helping thousands of creators launch: the software isn't the hard part. The hard part is getting out of your own head — waiting until everything feels "perfect," second-guessing your pricing, wondering if your content is good enough.

It never feels ready. The creators who succeed launch anyway.

This guide will show you the fastest way to get from where you are right now to a membership that's open and welcoming its first members.

The fastest way to get moving: join us live

The single best thing you can do right now is join a live Orientation Call with our team.

In about an hour, you'll walk away with:

  • A clear picture of what your Hub needs before you can open the doors — and what it doesn't (most people over-build)

  • Answers to your specific questions — bring anything, our team is there to help you live

  • A plan for your next 7 days — so you're not staring at your screen wondering what to do next

Hundreds of creators join these sessions every month. They're free, they're casual, and they're the fastest way to cut through the overthinking and start making real progress.

We host this call every Monday at 1:00 PM EST.

Register for the next session: links.membership.io/orientation

Can't make it live? A recorded version is available below so you can watch on your own time — but if you can make it, the live Q&A is where the magic happens.

While you wait: do this one thing

If the next Orientation Call is a few days away, here's one thing you can do in 10 minutes that will make a real difference.

Draft your welcome post.

This is the first thing your members will see when they join your Hub. It doesn't need to be long. It doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to say:

  • Who you are

  •

    What this space is about

  • What they should do first

Here's a simple template you can steal:

Welcome to [Your Hub Name]!

I'm [Your Name], and I built this space to help you [outcome your members want].

If you're brand new, here's where to start: post your name [and other details you'd like members to share].

Go to your Hub, create a new post, and paste that in. Edit it to make it yours. Done — you now have something ready for your first members.

Not sure how to create a post? Watch this quick community overview video to see how to set up a Hub for your community.

You're Not Doing This Alone

Whenever you get stuck — and you will, everyone does — here's where to go:
