How can I set up payments for my Hub?
While Membership.io doesn't have sales page features, you can use Stripe, Kit or an external cart via Zapier to collect payments for your Hub. All three of these options will add your members to your Audiences and grant them access to your Hub(s). From there, you members will receive an email with a link to complete their Hub onboarding.
If Using Stripe
Membership.io has a direct integration with Stripe. This means you can add a Stripe-based checkout page that appears inside your Hub's registration process. For more information on what this looks like, check out this article that provides a preview of the Stripe x Membership.io payment process.
- Create and configure a Stripe account
- Connect your Stripe account inside of your Apps page
- Add your Stripe products and prices inside your Hub settings
- Be sure your Hub's Registration is turned on.
- Share your Hub link with your members.
If Using Kit
Membership.io has a direct integration with Kat that allows you to pass payment information (primarily your member's name, email and what they bought)
- Create and activate a Kit Creator or Creator Pro account
- Connect your Kit account inside of your Apps page
- Create a Kit automation to pass your members into Membership.io after they get added to a Kit list or if they get a specific tag in Kit.
- Be sure your Hub's Registration is turned off.
- Collect payments via Kit.
If Using Another Cart
You can connect other cart platforms like SamCart, PayPal, ThriveCart, Kartra and more by using Zapier. Zapier allows you to pass payment information (primarily your member's name, email and what they bought) from your cart platform to your Membership.io account.
- Create your sales products and your checkout page on your external cart.
- Connect your cart with Membership.io using a Zap.
- Be sure your Hub's Registration is turned off.
- Collect payments via your external cart.
