Capture Leads with AI Chat

Collect names and emails of visitors who interact with your AI Chat (Wisdom) plugin

🧰 What You Will Need


Step 1 - Head to the Apps tab

From the Apps page of your Membership.io Account, find and click on AI Chat.

Step 2 - Choose the plugin

Choose the AI Chat plugin where you want to enable collecting leads.

Step 3 - Enable leads collection and customize your plugin

Click on the Collect Leads option to enable this feature.

Once inside, toggle on the Collecting Leads option to enable various customizable features. Feel free to explore the settings until you find your preferred configuration.

  • Contact Tags: Type or search to add Contact Tags to new leads automatically.
  • Welcome Message: When enabled, it lets you enter a custom welcome message for your Hub members.
  • Email Input Label: Change the default "Email" label to a different label of your choice.
  • Name Input Label: When enabled, you can collect names and customize the default label.
  • Button Label: Change the "Submit" button label.

When you're done, click the Save button in the top-right to save the changes.

Step 4 - See your new leads captured in the Contacts tab

Once a new user visits your AI Chat plugin, they will see the Lead Capture form (see image below) prompted right after they ask a question.

When you return to your Contacts tab, the collected information is automatically saved and can be viewed in your Contacts list.
